TSN/A Conference 2018: Advanced Methods for Automotive AVB/TSN Analysis

Ruetz System Solutions will display advanced methods for automotive AVB/TSN analysis in the exhibit area and in a conference presentation of TSN/A Conference on September 26-27, 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany. On 27 September at 14:45, Joerg Angstenberger, Head of Test Laboratory and Technology Consulting at Ruetz System Solutions, will speak on "Advanced Methods for Automotive AVB/TSN Analysis on System Level". In his presentation, he will discuss a specific network-integrated Ethernet test method for in-system AVB/TSN analyzation that is able to detect potential AVB/TSN in-system errors in real-time during operation and to automatically record only a short associated data sequence including failure description. The method of system error detection is based on TSN/AVB specific rule checkers, which can detect both protocol and timing violations in synchronization (802.1AS) or transportation layer (e.g. 1722, 802.1Qav, ...). The applied rule checkers were developed based on real error scenarios and also depict complex behavior such as the correlation between gPTP and AVB timestamping.
